Is Playza free to use?

Yes. Members get a free account, and the academy Starter plan is free. Optional paid plans — member Pro at 100 EGP/month, academy Plus at 200 EGP/month or Elite at 350 EGP/month — add advanced features like calendar sync, analytics, leaderboards and scouting.

What's the difference between a player, parent, and academy owner account?

A player account is the member's own file with schedule, attendance, payments and evaluations. A parent can add family members and follow each child from his or her own file. An academy owner creates the academy, manages the members and runs the management features.

Do I need to be a member of an academy to use Playza?

No. You can create an account and explore the community and friendly matches without being tied to an academy. Some features depend on your subscription type, and you can see plan details from your account.

Can I follow more than one child from the same account?

Yes. After joining an academy, you can add family members and open each child's own file to follow their data, attendance, payments and available evaluations.

What membership plans are there for members?

There are two member plans. The Free plan includes your dashboard, personal QR code, schedule, academies directory and joining friendly games. The Pro plan (100 EGP/month, 500 EGP for 6 months, or 1000 EGP/year) adds calendar (.ics) sync, recurring games, score entry, events, leaderboards and scouting.

How do I pay for a Playza plan?

You pay through Instapay or an e-wallet, and card payments (Kashier) are coming soon. After transferring, upload the payment screenshot in the checkout page and the team verifies it, then upgrades your account. Academies can also record cash, card, wallet or bank-transfer payments directly for their members.

Where do I find my personal QR code?

Sign in and open your profile from the member area. Every member has a personal QR check-in code that the academy scans at the door to mark attendance. A parent can open a child's QR from the child's file.

How do I see my remaining sessions and payment status?

The member dashboard shows your remaining sessions, attendance rate, next sessions and payment status. Full membership typically equals 8 sessions and half membership 4 per payment cycle, depending on what your academy offers. Payments you make are approved by the academy.

How do I find a friendly match near me?

Open the Friendly games page, pick your sport, and skim the upcoming matches with dates, location, players and the per-player share. You can join any open match after a free sign up, and match chat lets players agree on the details.

Is the price shown for a match a final price?

It's an estimate of each player's share of the court rent based on the hourly rate, match duration and minimum/maximum players, with the organiser counted in the number. Match creation fees and any extras are not included.

Each friendly match has a private chat for its current participants, so you can arrange the details and put the team together without the conversation getting lost in other groups.

How do I join a tournament?

Browse the Tournaments page — they're listed by sport with dates, locations and requirements. Sign up free and join the organizing academy, or contact them through the tournament page to participate.

Are tournaments for teams or for solo players?

Both. There are team tournaments (5×5, 7×7, 11-a-side) and individual ones such as padel and tennis. Each tournament page states the format and participation rules.

Can I organize my own tournament?

Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Academy owners on Enterprise can create tournaments and manage the full bracket — rounds, teams, scores, dates and venues — from the academy dashboard.

How do I create my academy on Playza?

Sign up and choose 'Academy owner'. Set your academy name, sports, location and description, then add your coaches, venues and training schedule. You get a public academy page that visitors can use to send trial requests.

What free trial do new academies get?

When you create an academy you start a free trial with the full feature set — no credit card required. After the trial, you can stay on the free Starter plan or upgrade to Plus or Elite.

What are the academy plans?

Three plans: Starter (free), Plus (200 EGP/month or 2100 EGP/year) and Elite (350 EGP/month or 3800 EGP/year). Higher plans unlock member management, attendance, payments, analytics, events, marketplace, scouting and support.

How do I collect payments from my members?

Record each payment with amount, date, plan and method (cash, card, wallet, bank transfer or other). There's a printable receipt for every payment and a CSV export for your accountant. For online subscriptions, members pay via Instapay or e-wallet and upload a screenshot.

Who records attendance and evaluations?

The academy management records performance evaluations and coach notes, and can use a QR scanner for attendance. Members and their parents can view their own evaluations.

How does the per-session profit engine work?

Playza calculates cost per session as (coach salary + court rent) divided by the sessions per month. Session revenue is the sum of attending members' per-session value plus guest payments. Profit = revenue − cost, recalculated automatically in the background whenever a payment, cost or attendance record changes.

Yes. Every academy gets an optional public page at /a/your-name where visitors can read your description and sports, and submit trial requests that land directly in your dashboard's trial pipeline.

Playza runs in any web browser — mobile, tablet or desktop. No store needed; you can add it to your home screen and open it like an app.

Every academy's data is isolated with PostgreSQL Row Level Security — one academy can never see another's data. Role-based access is enforced at the database and route level, and hosting runs on globally-managed infrastructure with automatic backups.

Yes. Academies can share a read-only .ics calendar feed; members on the Pro plan can subscribe once and see sessions in Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, automatically kept in sync.
